ABOUT US

IASify started with a pretty simple thought: UPSC preparation is already hard enough — why does practising have to be boring too?

I’m an engineer and a UPSC aspirant, and I’m building IASify alongside my own preparation journey. I’m keeping my identity private for now, but the idea behind the platform is very real: build something I would genuinely want to use myself.

The UPSC grind has its moments. Some days you’re solving PYQs like a machine. Other days you read the same paragraph five times and still remember absolutely nothing. And somehow, “bas ek aur topic” becomes another three hours.

IASify is my attempt to make one part of that journey a little more fun. Instead of just reading, highlighting and revising endlessly, you can actually solve, compete, make mistakes, improve and see where you stand.

Every question is written and curated with UPSC CSE Prelims in mind. Battles use Prelims-style MCQs, scored the same way the real exam scores you: +2 for correct, −⅔ for wrong, and 0 for unattempted.

Ratings are Elo-like and mode-specific — Whole Syllabus, History, Polity, Geography, and Economics each have their own rating. So being cracked at Polity doesn’t magically make you a Geography topper.

Right now, IASify is free and ad-free. The focus is simple: make preparation more interactive without turning it into another distraction.

This is still a work in progress. There will be new ideas, new features, some inevitable bugs, and probably a few things I’ll completely rethink along the way.

But the goal stays the same — make UPSC preparation a little more engaging, competitive, and human.
